Dave has over 15 years experience in the construction industry with much of this time being spent working for main contractors on many high value, prestige and bespoke projects, having gained the experience needed and working as a multitude of different professions combined including Estimating, Quantity Surveying and Project Management, Dave had the practical experience and confidence to take on his new role as Managing Director at Roberts Flooring when the opportunity arose.
Dave has a passion for creating a working environment which is both successful and fulfilling where all the team enjoy coming to work and enjoy their roles which Dave believes is one of the fundamental parts of creating a successful business along with providing excellent value for money and the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction possible.
Dave joined Roberts Flooring at the beginning of 2018 and is really looking forward to a long- and successful-time building Roberts Flooring to its maximum potential.
Estimator / Contracts Manager
Simon joined us in October 2017 from previously working for a well-respected ceramic tiling company and has taken on the role of running the social housing projects we have a long running contract with around the whole of the south west. Simon also enjoys taking on all other types of flooring projects we have which makes him an extremely beneficial and adaptable member of the team as he also benefits from having a very good repour with all of our site fitting team he really is part of the core team at Roberts Flooring. Simon has really taken his role in the firm with great pride and is progressing well with his knowledge and experience in flooring, he is extremely responsible, and customer focused which has bought us great results in projects completed recently.
Estimator / Contracts Manager
Tim joined Roberts Floorings early 2019 and has come into the business looking to become a fully respectable flooring estimator / contracts manager. He has taken this opportunity having already previously trained as both a motorcycle technician and car spray apprentice both of which had not fully satisfied his potential and since joining us has really jumped into his new role very well and is extremely keen and excited to learn as much as possible.
At Roberts flooring we feel training and development is a massive advantage to the industry we are in and this helps to secure and boost the level of experienced staff and fitters with job specific knowledge in the sector gaining benefit to all.
We currently have an apprenticeship scheme running where we have 3 young up and coming floor fitters working with us along with Tim who is going through his training in the office environment and procedures, this will provide us with enthusiastic, young professionals into our business as their training progresses making them the future of Roberts Flooring.
Accounts / Finance
Nicky has been with Roberts Flooring Since 1999 and through that time has seen the company grow and change as the years progressed. Nicky has a great understanding of the financial side of the business and is a key member of staff adding commercial understanding and common sense whilst also ensuring all our financial commitments are met.
